CCS lays great emphasis on forging networks to exchange information, build relationships, share expertise and advocate on important topics that help, build and encourage social responsibility.
In response to the need for an association of Christian children’s homes in Sri Lanka and the need to set and raise standards among all who oversee and direct theses homes, a network was initiated called Kidznet. Their ethos is: Striving for excellence in residential childcare.
Their newsletters are available on their web site.

A network which helps to educate and stop the spread of HIV/AIDS
Save Lanka Kids strives to educate, empower and train students, youth and community leaders to be efficient peer educators for HIV and AIDS in order to stop the spread of the virus and the stigma that surrounds our society. SLK partners with schools, corporate and private bodies, faith based organizations and the Government to advocate on HIV and AIDS to prevent this epidemic from spreading in our country. The network also advocates for patients living with HIV (PLHIV) addressing the stigma and discrimination that continues to affect their lives.
Combating Human Trafficking
CCS formulated a network to draw people together to reduce the risk of human trafficking. Some of those who are partners in the network are from the corporate and private sectors, tourist, hotel and garment industries, advertising agencies, banks, international groups, members of the law society, media personnel, NGOs, faith based organisations and many more. Its purpose is to be a strong voice to advocate, raise awareness, share ideas, enforce the law and conduct programmes that help in the mitigation of this issue. The main thrust of this network can be categorised as:
